The app opens on today. Use Previous day and Next day to move one day at a time, or Past days to jump to any day already written in. Today brings you back.
Tap Treatment day on an infusion day. Afterwards, every day is labelled automatically, which helps the care team connect symptoms to the treatment.
Example: mark Tuesday as the treatment day, and Friday will read “Day 3 after treatment.”
Type the name, the dose, and check the time — the time fills in automatically, so usually you only type the name. Once a name has been used, it appears as a Used before button you can tap instead of typing it again.
Example: “Zofran” with dose “8 mg” at 8:00 AM. Tomorrow, just tap the Zofran button.
Enter the reading and add it. Anything 100.4°F or above is marked in red as a fever, and the on-call number appears right there to tap and call.
Add the weight whenever he is weighed — the same time of day gives the most useful comparison. The app works out the change since the last weigh-in on its own.
Example: after entering 168.4, it shows “Down 1.4 lb since Aug 18.”
Tap the number that matches how it feels right now, where 0 is no pain and 10 is the worst imaginable. Tap again any time it changes — several entries in a day is normal and useful.
Tap + each time. Loose stools matter because the care team asks for that exact number, and it guides decisions about treatment. Drinks are a rough count of cups of anything — water, juice, broth, tea.
Tap the minus button if you tap one by mistake.
Notes is for how the day went — appetite, energy, sleep, mood. Care team instructions is where to keep standing advice you have been given, so it stays in front of you. Questions for the doctor stay on the list until marked answered, and print at the end of every printout.
Example instruction: “Hold the diuretic on infusion days.” Example question: “Is this level of fatigue expected this cycle?”
Print this day gives one clean sheet. Print everything gives every day recorded. Open questions print at the end as a checklist.
It saves as you type — there is no step you can forget. The grey bar at the top says so. If it turns orange, that usually just means there is no internet: keep writing, and it catches up by itself.
Tap how it feels right now. 0 is no pain, 10 is the worst imaginable. Tap any time it changes.
Questions stay on this list until they are marked answered, and they print at the end of every printout so nothing gets forgotten at the appointment.
Records are privately stored and encrypted, only people with the exact share link and key
have access.
Works with no internet — it catches up on its own.
